There is no upper limit on how much money you can have in your savings accounts at Nordiska. However, deposited funds are only protected under the state deposit guarantee up to 1,150,000 SEK per customer and institution.
In addition, the deposit guarantee can be extended up to a maximum of 5 million SEK for certain specific events, such as:
- Sale of a private residence
- Severance payments
- Insurance compensation
This extended protection applies for a period of 12 months from the date the deposit was made or became available in the account.
